Fundraising
The mission of fundraising is to support the church with financial assistance, while bringing together the church community in activities. Regular fundraisers have been: garage sale, chili supper/reverse raffle, food sales and the auction. Each event needs a chairperson and a strong team who can provide input, gather new ideas, organize the work needed and follow-through with the tasks. The Grants ministry allows the parish to investigate/obtain external funding for projects that support the church mission. Typically the grant writing and submission is a 6-8 week commitment. We can expand this ministry by locating other grant request options (new funding streams). To participate, contact John Weisenbach at 926-5797.Finance Committee
The Finance Committee coordinate preparation of St. Mary´s annual budget and financial plan in accordance with parish mission and goals. The committee analyzes parish revenues and expenses, and provides a thorough financial review of the parish. The Anniversaries Committee coordinates the events that celebrate the anniversaries and historical milestones of St. Mary’s Parish. These events include coordinating celebrations and projects of historical interest. If you are interested in assisting the Anniversaries Committee, contact John Hittle at 291-6314.
