Computer Classes
Saint Mary is offering some computer classes for the Hispanic community, these classes are taught in Spanish. We are teaching a basic computer class for beginners, and an advance class in which we teach how to use office applications and computer programs.
Computer Classes for beginners
This class is designed to teach the very basics of a computer, we start by introducing the parts and components of a computer. Also, we teach how to use Windows XP and some of its applications. Also, we teach how to download pictures from a camera, how to scan documents, how to save files to a portable memory and CDs, how to create and save documents and to print them. This class is designed for students with no computer experience.
Microsoft Office 2007 Computer Classes
This class is for students with some knowledge of the computer; in this class we teach Microsoft Office 2007, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basically we teach how to create letters and resumes, how to create spreadsheets, and how to make presentations on the computer.
January 09 to January 30, 2010
This class was that to teach the basics of computers, for students with minimum knowledge of a computer. This is the first Computer class that we taught in 2010. The following pictures show the class in action.
