MONDAY EVENING VIRTUAL SERIES FROM 7 TO 8PM
STATIONS OF THE CROSS DURING LENT
The Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul will offer stations of the cross each Friday evening during Lent beginning Friday February 19th at 6PM. We encourage all to join us in person (masks and social distancing required). Rather than “walking the stations” everyone will remain at their seat (spread out into groups of 2 seats).
If you are interested in being a leader or cross bearer, contact Diana Hay at [email protected] or call (317) 634-4519. |
This Lent, we invite you to make a pilgrimage to the cross with 7 extraordinary women and men of God. Come and journey with Blessed Sára Salkhaházi through Nazi-occupied Hungary, with Venerable Augustus Tolton through late-19th century Illinois, with Dorothy Day, St. Martin de Porres, St. Oscar Romero and more. Anne Lustig will lead us in prayer, discussion and reflection on the book “No Unlikely Saints”. To register for this event, contact Maureen Riley at [email protected] or (317) 292-5399.
Lent comes providentially to reawaken us, to shake us from our lethargy. – Pope Francis
